A Bookish Beginning

A place for me to rant and rave about books without you feeling like you have to politely listen

About Me

I’m a Youth Librarian in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I used to be a teacher, and since getting a lot of my time back after quitting teaching, I’ve discovered a creative side of me that loves to make pretty things. I read mostly Young Adult fiction, but occasionally I read adult and often juvenile. I sew quilts, and I hope to soon sew clothing. I use my Cricut to create cards, shirts, and stickers. I write as a hobby, but I have goals to write professionally.
